Live by the sun. Love by the moon.
I have these words etched on my back. Black ink stains that form cursive lines, connected and twirling and flowing into each other, reminding me each day of the ever-existing balance I am a part of. The world, the sun and the moon, the mountains and oceans, mind and body, dreams and obligations.
My name is Sarah. There is a part of me, the obligated part, to inform you that I am a student at the University of Georgia, majoring in journalism and psychology. And then there is another part, the part of me that exists beyond the labels of my education status, that wants you to know who I really am. A seeker of adventures. An adrenaline junkie. A hiker, a runner, a scuba-diver, a person who is not really sure how far that obligated part of myself will take me.
But here are a few of the important things: I love to write, I love to read, I love to travel. I am passionate about the ocean, and deeply appreciative to the person who figured out how to let me breath while I’m under it. I am a creative. A writer, mostly, and I long for the day when I can sit on a beach and let the words flow from my fingers, weaving intricate storylines and creating characters who I hope the world will grow to read about and love. I guess being an author is my dream, an author of adventurous, non-fiction novels, and I guess the obligated part of myself is just taking a stepping stone to get there.
